Once Spring is on the horizon supporters of New York City’s adored Frick Museum are looking forward to the annual Young Fellows Ball. Since it is the biggest event of the season, now in its nineteenth year, they also search for the best possible outfit to represent the theme of the year. Inspired by Paolo Veronese monumental Choice Between Virtue and Vice (ca. 1565) fashionistas and important socialites showed which side they are leaning towards. In fashion and style that is.
This year’s ball was held in partnership with ESCADA, a luxury womenswear brand known for contemporary and effortless style. Chairmen of the event Paul Arnhold, Sarah Flint, Amory McAndrew, and Gillian Hearst Simonds as well as selected guests wore gowns by ESCADA.
Magical Garden Court was lit in red and blue and popping in colorful frocks and Ferrari Trento sparkling. Crèm de la crème of New York guest list came photo op ready to mingle while DJs Timo Weiland and Nicole Rosé, made sure young attendees showed off some spectacular dance moves.
Young Fellows’ gifts support the preservation of the permanent collection, ground-breaking special exhibitions, annual symposia, award-winning concert series, and outstanding lectures, as well as the maintenance of the galleries and gardens of the landmarked Gilded Age mansion.
