Coco Mitchell discovered on the streets of New York City by the legendary Eileen Ford. This CCNY graduate and elementary school teacher went on to grace the pages of Mademoiselle, Glamour, Italian and French Vogue. From Revlon’s ground breaking women of color campaign “Polished Ambers” to being one of the 1st African American models to to appear in The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue. Coco Michell has been a source of inspiration and a driving force in the fashion industry. The list of designers that she has worked with is impressive to say the least. From Armani, Versace, Dior, Givenchy, Sonia Rykiel, Yves St. Laurent, Issey Miyake, Valentino, Gian Franco Ferre to Ralph Rucci, Calvin Klein, Bill Blass, Badgely Mischka etc.
