Most anticipated social event of the season , Spring Garden Party at The Frick was in full bloom despite an unexpected downpour. New York socialites not so easily discouraged arrived in off the runway colorful ensembles ready to enjoy The Frick mansion.
Floral patterns, bright whites, warm, bold colors as well as some very posh fascinators filled the museum’s iconic Garden Court . Jazz quartet The Flail added to the joy of spending moments at such an iconic place along with an opportunity to visit the permanent collection as well as special exhibition galleries. A special treat was being able to visit the rarely seen second floor of the former Frick mansion.
Fashionable guests enjoyed Tito’s Handmade Vodka cocktails, Rosé by Hampton Water Wine Co. and sparkling wine by Ferrari Trento accompanied by delicious seasonally inspired hors d’oeuvres provided by Creative Edge Parties.
As the night went on guest showed off their moves at the music room to the beats of DJ Unos and Dubs and once the skies finally cleared evening called for a nightcap in the historic Fifth Avenue Garden just as planned!
Another reason to celebrate was the opening of Elective Affinities: Edmund de Waal at The Frick Collection on display until November 17th 2019
