Fashion Group International geared up for 2022 Rising Star Awards, by welcoming finalists and friends to a joyous, pre-awards fete, at the Diesel flagship store in Soho, New York. Ana Martins PR gathered industry’s movers and shakers along with talented “rising stars” so it was great to feel all that creative energy and pre awards excitement. Maryanne Grisz, FGI President and CEO welcomed all the guests and finalists who have all been in business less than six years. They are following footsteps of currently very popular, past Rising Star Awards 2022 winners. Jason Wu,Tory Burch, Joseph Altuzarra to name a few.

POP Style TV met few Fashion Group International Rising Star finalist in the beauty category. Curl Daddy founder, Edwin Borquez Pierrot shared with us why he started his brand: “Curl Daddy started from a process that I went through that really made me love myself. But most importantly which then transitioned into a transformation that made me love my hair. Of course 60% of what you apply on to you is absorbed into you, into your system. While mingling with all the fabulous guests, we noticed a lady holding some sort of colorful sticks. Of course this attractive packaging made us curious.
