Spa experience with spare fruits and vegetables from your fridge or cabinet? It’s possible. There are many ways of pampering yourself with yummy snacks full of vitamins and minerals that can do wonders for your skin and hair.
Hair Masks:
It of course depends on your hair type but for those with frizzy and dry hair in need of some help, here are a few super simple solutions,
*A few spritzes of rosewater or sugar water on dry hair will go a long way. For the sugar water, add a teaspoon of sugar to a cup of water and mix it up. Then divide your hair into sections and apply it with your hands.
*Olive oil or melted coconut oil mask, even plain, mashed avocado is another perfect solution for dry hair. Apply either choice on your hair and after an hour wash it out and proceed with your regular shower routine.
*Another great hair mask is a combination of lemon juice, honey, and yogurt. Mix it all together and apply for an hour.
If you do any of these at least once a week for a month or two, you’ll see great results.
Facial Scrub
My friend recommended a homemade coffee and honey scrub (add a little milk if it is too sticky for your taste). Mix these together well, massage onto your face and leave it on for fifteen minutes. Your skin will feel incredibly smooth. This scrub cleans pores, removes dead skin and helps blemishes.
Avocado, the holy grail of multipurpose foods will soften your skin, clean your pores, and leave your face glowing. Cut and mash it up, apply and leave it on for fifteen minutes. You can do this simultaneously with your hair mask, you would just need lots of avocados. Make sure to apply moisturizer after to avoid skin irritation.
Doing these once a week for a month and you will see great skin improvement.
Bonus whole body scrub recipe:

Who doesn’t love spa baths? There are ways to get that spa bath treatment you’ve been dying for in the comfort of your own home.
Set the mood by lighting some of your favorite scented candles. Treat yourself with a glass of your favorite refreshment and put on some relaxing music. Flowers or special lights would certainly add to relaxing mode just remember to lock the door so you won’t be disturbed Fill up a hot bath and add bath salts or oils.
A good natural diffuser is eucalyptus. The steam from your hot bath will make the eucalyptus release an aroma that is known to help you release stress, relax, and even help clear your sinuses. Lavender is also very relaxing and a great alternative.
