MvVO ART SHOW 2026 celebrated contemporary art, luxury hospitality, and artistic innovation during New York’s Armory Week through a landmark partnership with Waldorf Astoria New York and Guerlain Wellness Spa. The exhibition brought together artists, collectors, media, and VIP guests in one of Manhattan’s most iconic luxury destinations, generating strong collector interest, with nearly half of the artworks on display acquired during the show.
Presented in the hotel’s elegant Peacock Alley Corridor, the exhibition featured an inspiring selection of contemporary paintings, photography, sculpture, and mixed-media works. The event marked the first collaboration between MvVO ART and Waldorf Astoria New York, creating a distinctive cultural experience that united contemporary creativity with the hotel’s celebrated legacy of sophistication and hospitality.
“Bringing MvVO ART SHOW to Waldorf Astoria New York was a wonderful way to connect artists, collectors and guests through art,” said Maria van Vlodrop, Founder and CEO of MvVO ART. “I’m grateful to our partners and thrilled by the response.”

Luigi Romaniello, Managing Director of Waldorf Astoria New York, added, “We were delighted to welcome MvVO ART SHOW 2026 to Waldorf Astoria New York. The exhibition brought a fresh cultural experience to Peacock Alley Corridor and our guests.”
Guerlain Adds Artistic Elegance to MvVO ART SHOW 2026
An important highlight of the exhibition was the participation of Guerlain, whose longstanding commitment to artistic patronage complemented the contemporary works on display. Two exceptional creations brought the beauty of art and craftsmanship into focus: a sculptural interpretation of Pêche Mirage by French artist Charles Pétillon and the Shalimar 100th Anniversary bottle, created by Franco-Brazilian featherwork artist Janaïna Milheiro.
The collaboration was realized through Guerlain Wellness Spa at Waldorf Astoria New York, bringing together the worlds of contemporary art, beauty, wellness, and luxury. The presentation offered visitors an opportunity to experience art in a refined setting while participating in guided art experiences connected with Guerlain Wellness Spa.
The partnership underscored the growing relationship between the luxury hospitality sector and the contemporary art world, demonstrating how iconic destinations can serve as platforms for artistic discovery and cultural engagement.
Waldorf Astoria New York: An Iconic Setting for Contemporary Art
With more than a century of history in New York society, Waldorf Astoria New York provided a distinguished backdrop for the exhibition. Following a comprehensive transformation led by architects Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, with interiors designed by Pierre-Yves Rochon, the property preserves the grandeur of its original Art Deco architecture while introducing contemporary furnishings and updated luxury amenities.
The hotel’s Peacock Alley Corridor became a dynamic exhibition space, allowing MvVO ART’s participating artists to showcase their work within an internationally recognized destination. The collaboration also reflected Guerlain’s heritage of supporting artistic expression and exceptional craftsmanship.
Cadogan Tate served as the official art logistics partner, helping support the presentation of the artworks throughout the exhibition.
