Kim Kardashian West made her hosting debut hosting Saturday Night Live. Kardashian West said that “S.N.L.” offered her the opportunity to demonstrate that she was “so much more than just a pretty face.” Here are her three best segments!
Kim Kardashian West Monologue
Kim Kardashian West delivers a great monologue that unloads on every single part of her life. “I’m just so much more than that reference photo my sisters show their plastic surgeons.” Kim’s monologue is so bold that it bodes well for the rest of the episode. Sometimes we wonder if a non-comedian will have a good sense of humor, and Kim seems to open the entire menu to SNL. She even dips into her relationship with Kanye, saying “When I divorced him, it came down to just one thing: his personality.”
The Dream Guy
Kim is in a Bachelorette-type show about to make her pick for the next round. The candidates are Jesse Williams, John Cena, Chris Rock, Tyler Cameron, Chace Crawford, Blake Griffin, and Kyle Mooney. The incredibly hot guys are all pumped to be there, and as she calls each one forward, she recounts something about them. We even get an amusing moment with Amy Schumer walking on as a producer who also gets a token. Kim says, “Do you accept this token?” and Amy replies “With both of my holes.” And the rose goes too…
The People’s Kourt
Kim plays her sister Kourtney in an ad for her new show, The People’s Kourt. While playing Judge Kourtney Kardashian, she heard a handful of “family issues” from her family. Khloé Kardashian (playing herself) battled Kim (Heidi Gardner) over stealing her makeup artist. Then, Kris Jenner (playing herself) sued Kylie (Melissa Villaseñor) “because she hasn’t had her baby yet” and Kendall (Halsey) because “she won’t cause any drama and it’s damaging our brand.” Next, during the five-minute parody, Judge Kourtney gets a PDA-packed visit from her Blink-182 drummer boyfriend, played by SNL’s Mikey Day. While Kardashian straddles him she says, “Will you drum ‘All the Small Thing’ on my a– when we get home”? she casually requests. “Hands or sticks?” the musician comically replies. It was so funny!
It turns out Kim Kardashian has a rather wicked sense of humor. And, well, she proved her comedic prowess during her hosting stint on this week’s episode of Saturday Night Live.
