Delivering Good 40th Celebrated with Record-Breaking Gala

Delivering Good 40th year of restoring comfort, renewing hope, and helping individuals and families rebuild with dignity was celebrated at the Anniversary Gala at Gotham Hall in New York City. The milestone event united leaders from fashion, finance, media, technology, and philanthropy, raising an unprecedented $2.3 million to advance the organization’s mission of providing new essentials to those facing hardship or disaster.

The inspiring evening honored Oscar Feldenkreis, President & CEO of Perry Ellis International, and the late George Feldenkreis, who received the Lifetime Achievement Award; Andrew Rosen, fashion entrepreneur, investor, and visionary, who was presented with the Impact Award; and the Founders of Delivering Good, K.I.D.S., and Fashion Delivers, recipients of the Founders Award.

Model and Delivering Good ambassador Daiane Sodré and Carl Banks, former Super Bowl champion and President of G-III Sports, shared heartfelt remarks on the organization’s profound and lasting impact.

“Together, we honored four decades of restoring comfort, dignity, and hope to people in need—and made history with a record-breaking $2.3 million raised,” said Matthew Fasciano, President & CEO of Delivering Good. “As we celebrate 40 years, we reflect on the countless lives touched by this organization and the extraordinary people whose passion and commitment make our work possible.”

Karen Bromley, set about founding a charity now 40 years ago known as K.I.D.S. (Kids In Distressed Situations). Four decades later, since its founding in 1985, Delivering Good has distributed nearly $3 billion in new merchandise through a network of more than 800 community partners, offering hope and self-esteem to children, families, and individuals across the country. From natural disasters to economic crises, the organization continues to provide essential support when it’s needed most.

As part of the Delivering Good 40th anniversary celebration, Delivering Good unveiled a special 40th Anniversary Coffee Table Book, featuring award-winning photography that captures powerful stories of resilience and recovery—from hurricanes and wildfires to public health challenges and housing insecurity. Contributors include renowned photographers Ryan Scott, Kitra Cahana, and Sara Easter, whose work reflects the enduring spirit of hope at the heart of Delivering Good’s mission.

Copies of the book are available for pre-sale online for $125, with proceeds benefiting Delivering Good’s programs. Each gala attendee received a copy as a commemorative gift.
