The Frick Collection opened its doors for one of the season’s most enchanting soirées: All Hallows’ Eve at the Mansion, a black-tie haunt couture costume ball that transformed the Fifth Avenue landmark into a vision of Gilded Age splendor and mystery.

Guests arrived in elaborate attire, gliding through the museum’s marble halls and candlelit galleries where flickering shadows danced across masterpieces by Vermeer, Rembrandt, and Fragonard. The evening evoked the grandeur of a bygone era complete with candlelit performances at the auditorium, tarot card readings and trays of delicate confections offered to guests as they wandered the historic rooms.

Before the festivities began, Frick Board Chair Betty Eveillard joined lead event chairs Bosilika An and Alexander Hamlin for an intimate pre-reception toast, alongside Museum Director Axel Ruger, Deputy Director Tia Chapman, and several members of the Board. The small gathering set the tone for an evening that was as elegant as it was unforgettable.

The event’s chairs gathered for a private LOUIS XIII toast, unveiling a century-old cognac steeped in history. As the festivities commenced, VIP guests were welcomed with sparkling glasses of Champagne Telmont.

The guest list included an array of distinguished figures from New York’s art, fashion, and philanthropy circles all embracing the Gilded Age theme with impeccable style and imagination.

As guests lingered in the galleries under the soft glow of candlelight, surrounded by the museum’s priceless collection, the All Hallows’ Eve ball became more than an event—it was an experience of timeless beauty and creative spirit, a night where the past and present waltzed in perfect harmony.
