The Gilded Met Gala 2022 evening celebrated museum’s new exhibition, that opens May 7th and will remain on display through September 5, 2022. This is the part 2 of the museum’s celebration of American style. Last September there was part one “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion, and last night Part 2 “In America: The Gilded Age”.
The Met Gala red carpet’s theme this year was all about Gilded Glamour 2022 that took place in New York City from 1870- 1900. Guests served their theatrical takes on white-tie dressing. Please see below, because your minds will be blown away!

The last person to walk the Met Gala Carpet were Kim K and Pete Davidson. What’s the most American Fashion thing you can think of? Why of course – that’s Marilyn Monroe. Kim Kardashian wore an original iconic dress Merilyn wore herself while singing happy birthday to JFK in 1962! Dress is adorned with 6000 hand sewn crystals by costumier Jean Louis. She could not fit into the dress at first but went on a strict diet and woala . Met gala afterparty for her and Pete was pizza and doughnuts dinner in their room.
