Three Hong Kong designers came together to present their collection during New York Fashion Week. The Fashion Hong Kong Show during NYFW with the support of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) presented Polly Ho, Harrison Wong and Hidy Ng.
Polly Ho,designer of Loom Loop, started off the show with her vibrate mix and match prints. We noticed silk trench coats and perfectly draped mid-lenght dresses all naturally dyed. Each look was accessorized with a bold butterfly head piece or a pair of over-sized sun glasses, that made the whole collection pop. Harrison Wong presented modern urban men’s collection that was full of intriguing, outerwear wool designs. The marble prints and the soft cool tones added a relaxed feeling to his collection, which was inspired by nature – earth and stone. Hidy Ng, designer of the label H Hidy N.G filled the runway with romantic ruffles and glamorous gold lace tops. Her designs were feminine with a hint of modern. The Hong Kong Show designers displayed their collections in prefect harmony.
