Executive Chef Ashfer Biju of Perrine at The Pierre prepared a very special menu for Restaurant Week that starts on Monday, July 23rd and lasts until August 17th 2018. Make your reservations fast as this popular and opulent restaurant, known for its great service will get booked fast!
Perrine, very much the Upper East Side scene, overlooking Central Park, it is likely you might run into some of the well known New Yorkers while dining farm-to-table and sustainable seasonal ingredients enhanced with vibrant ingredients. Chef Biju’s simple, elegant dishes have met rave reviews from customers.
A pre fix menu, Monday through Friday is available for lunch or dinner. In addition, special is available on Sunday evening for dinner as well.
There is a choice of appetizer, main course and dessert.
We tested out lunch menu and it is an amazing opportunity to enjoy Chef Biju’s special recipes. We would definitely go back and indulge in his famous dishes. So here are some of our favorites.
For the first course there are five choices.
Green Gaspacho soup, with leeks, jalapeño, cucumber and avocado is perfectly refreshing on a hot summer day. And a great starter if you are going for a heavier main course.
Seared Tuna salad and famous Coronation Chicken, made on the occasion of coronation of her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II are quite popular choices but our absolute favorite is Grilled Shrimp Salad with cherry tomato, avocado and spiced lemon aioli ! Absolutely divine!
For the second course there are four choices and this week Slow Roasted Tomato & Cruyere Tart , Loup De Mer, Coq Au Vin Blanc and Steak Frites are on the menu. We were surprised by the big portion of steak and so impressed with a very unique herb dressing it came with.
Dessert choices are Dairy Free Panna Cotta and Warm Chocolate Cake as well as selection of in house made ice cream and sorbet.
