On October 13th 2017, yes Friday the 13th Manhattanites will be able to experience a certain je ne sais quoi with the official opening of Doux Supper Club in NYC’s Flatiron District. Doux, or “sweet” in French, will feature two separate atmospheres – Parisian-style café and a supper club.
To find it you have to enter through a doorway recognizable only by the street number and follow the staircase to the café. Chained brass globe lights illuminate the space, the walls are covered in green canvas floral print, there are vintage birdcages filled with candles, décor, and books. Doux surely triggers mysticism and motivates your sexy, dark side to surface. But first you need to have something sweet.
“The Doux Supperclub concept is one that hasn’t been implemented before,” says Eric Biberman, creator of the brand and operator. “We took this idea of combining delectable desserts with dark and seductive performances and expanded it to create an entertaining and indulgent atmosphere that shares the same creed.”
The café menu highlights the Parisian dessert scene with options such as macaroons filled with raspberries, lychee and rose cream, coffee eclairs and crepes – standard desserts. The true catch and a signature of the supper club are custom liquor infused chocolates by famous chocolatier Ada Azarya. Cheers! Time to start the party and move to the club section!
Doux Supperclub will bring it’s dark and seductive atmosphere to life with chocolate and cocktail pairings, themed brunch and dinner parties, tableside service, and monthly rotating performances including live jazz and burlesque shows.
Guests can look forward to the season filled with Sweet Dinner Party Friday nights and a family style brunch on Sundays.
