Luxurious Weekend at The Quin

There is nothing more interesting than taking a vacation at home away from home. What do I mean by that? Well I live in New York City and I decided to go for a “weekend getaway” in New York City.  I packed my weekend bag and my long hair chihuahua Suzi and checked in to Quin Hotel!

Location of The Quin is perfect! You are in the middle of the city and whether you want to go to Central Park, Times Square, for shopping on 5th Avenue, Lincoln Center or visit Museums everything is five minutes walking  distance.

This New York Hotel once housed greatest artists like Ignacy Jan Paderewski, Georgia O’Keeffe, and Marc Chagall and now, just a pair of city’s lifestyle experts, Suzi and me.

Lobby of the hotel is quite impressive. There is an opulent reading area and quite significant art work is featured throughout the hotel. The check in went smoothly and it was great to find out I was upgraded to a junior suite, penthouse junior suite mind you!

I opened the door of my penthouse for the weekend and I was amazed by luxurious interior and my welcome bottle of wine with a personal note!  I toasted to the weekend on a 400 square-foot terrace with a beautiful view of the city. I wish I never had to leave this room , I said to myself.

I eventually did leave the terrace and moved to a glass enclosed rain shower for a while. All the staff was very helpful and accommodating . Suzi and I will definitely be back maybe to Experience The Quin Hotel 3 Floors Penthouse!
